My daughter is buying a 2003 Pontiac Grand prix today with 79,000 miles for the price of $3,500. The dealer bought it at auction in "repairable" condition. Sounds to me like thats another term for "totalled"! The car is clean, smooth and sleek inside and out, including under the hood, but all you need for that is a steam cleaned engine. I did not ask if it was a salvage title, but I will when we go back to pay the balance and if it is, will not complete the deal. My wife drove it and it seemd OK. Comes with 60 day warranty. Any experienced dealers out there with any advice/knowledge on this subject??? P.S. I did pull a Carfax report also and there was one accident report, not recent.
