We find out on Monday if were having a boy or a girl. We didn't announce the pregnancy in a very creative way, basically just told most people over the phone due to distance. Distance is once again an issue, but I want it to be more memorable. Husband and I get eachother ornaments each year. This year he gave me a little snowman bell that has "Most Loved Mom" written on it. Today Im surprising him with an identical, that says "most loved dad"... Also while I was at the store, I found a snowman with both the girl name and boy name spelled the way we want and what we have chosen and I of course bought one of each with the intent to return 1 on Monday after we find out.
Im planning on taking a picture of the 3 finals(mom, dad, and either Katelyn or Brandon) and make a holiday greeting photo card to send via email, then call the recipients and tell them to check mail while on the phone. They will then see the picture of the 3 ornaments, and hopefully realize boy or girl via the name they see in the picture. I wish I could tell people in person, but I'll be too excited to wait till we can see them again.
