I'm currently unemployed, having recently quit a dead-end job that I HATE.
My sister and I have been discussing moving to New York City. She's more successful than I am, as in, she's the one with the degrees and whatnot. I think she's willing to let me be her "hanger on" as I try to get my novels published (yes, I'm a writer), but I want to make a supplemental income on the side.
I was thinking of taking a dog-walking, pet-sitting, or nanny job on the side as I pray that my novels and plays work out. Is this a bad idea? There are plenty of people who live the rebel life of an artist, right? Is this a bad idea?
