We captured a wild house mouse in our apartment and gave it a home like that for a pet mouse. We didn't really wanna release it out of the apartment because winter is coming and we're in Wisconsin. But I still very much worry about the risk of disease like Hantavirus from dust of their urine or bubonic plague from fleas. It is a wild mouse, so it is hiding, difficult to handle, and might even jump out of the tank if it's opened...

Is it possible to have a vet check on it and test if it carry any disease?
