I'm 22 years old, and have made some mistakes in life. I went to my city's community college for a few years and along the way hit a few potholes (abusive relationship, family member with cancer.) I have a terrible GPA and I am on academic probation, which gives me trouble with the type of financial aid I can get because they want me to be full time.
I've heard even if I start over somewhere new I have to transfer my information. Seems unfair that I'm going to suffer for my entire life for things that happened before I could even legally drink. Girls who get knocked up can get abortions, people who spend more money than they have can declare bankruptcy, isn't there anything I can do?
