He is eating, swimming and acting normally, only there are 2 concerns, Only his left gill is opening and closing, at a normal pace. and for the other concern, on his right fin he has a something that looks like a bubble or a grain of salt, it is very small and i don't see any others on his body, i used melafix when i first added him to the tank for 3 days and i do it occasionally just to be safe.
he eats and swims fine, no irregular movement, he plays in the filter output and looks fine except for that bubble type thing
NOTE: i have a big air stone in my tank so to get over to the other side of the tank he has to swim through bubbles, he often gets bubbles on his chins and stomach but they float up or something quickly after attaching, he has had the bubble type thing for about a half hour.
do you think it is ich? i add melafix regularly and the tank is cycled.
thanks for any ideas or tips!!

sounds like ich to me so it does.keep treating him and make sure there is a carbon pad in the fiter to.as for the breathing if he is acting normal he should be ok.keep an eye on him.fish love the bubbles so they do my fish alway swim into them :) good luck.
