Is there something taboo about discussing California's Prop 23 on YA?

Over the last few days I have posted, or more aptly, TRIED to post very simple, non combative questions asking for people's opinions (or votes) on Proposition 23. My questions either don't get posted or they get one or no answers. Why? It is not a minor issue. I welcome all view points (if civil). What is the deal?

Is it because Yahoo has a stake in the proposition or is it because no one here knows anything about it?
