Is there some type of plug on the top of a 97 ford escort near the speed sensor?

My 97 escort wagon with 2.0L engine leaks transmission fluid out of a hole right next to the speed sensor on top of the transmission case near the firewall. The speed sensor is the electrical connector on top of the transmission on the drivers side near the firewall. If someone has a late model escort, maybe they could send a picture so I can see what it is supposed to look like?
