You can download the free trial from Adobe.com, but I can never get it to work. You can download GIMPshop for free, which is very similar to Photoshop...

Its totally free and big on Linux systems but I believe they now have it for Mac and Windows

no there isnt.
just 30 day trials that cannot be used again. and if you tried to download it again to use the 30 day trial you would not succeed.
and lastly, the 30 day trial has limited operations compared the full version.
you did not say which version of photoshop you wanted, but they are all the same in my instance above, i know cus ive had the 30 day trial and now ive got full working photoshop CS4 Extended.
