I like going fishing with my boyfriend, but we never have any luck. We fish from land, since we don't have a boat. I did catch a flounder one time but he wasn't long enough to keep him (one inch short). So...is there a best time of day to fish...???

thanks

Depends what you are fishing for, I`m guessing you are saltwater fishing since you are talking about flounder. You`ll have to catch the right tides-high, low, slack- and currents-ebb and flood- for certain fish. Also, you`ll need to find structure where bait fish will be, where theres bait theres bigger fish. Some say, and I believe its true, that large Striped Bass dont like the light. I`ve seen 40+lb stripers caught after sunset and before sunrise, havent seen anything that size or larger caught during the day, its because they hunt at night.

The type of bait you use is obviously important as well, you want to match the bait in the water both size and color wise.

You have to there about 5:00 AM to 5:30 AM on and good luck to the two of you you two and have fun too.
