Is there much action is Twilight: New Moon?

We watched the first Twilight last night, and although I LOVED it (sorry to sound like an excited 13 year old, but it was aaaaall because of Robert Pattinson *swoon* :o) my boyfriend said he didn't like that there wasn't much action in it, but still liked it nonetheless.

So I told him that I assume the Twilight saga will be like Lord Of The Rings, being that the first one is pretty slow, setting up the story and introduing the characters, but then the second one will have all the action.

But from reading the plot on Wiki, it doesn't seem like there's much fighting at all.

Is this the case? Is it more just, lovey-dovey again, with a bit of that hunky werewolf man?

So you're saying that the 2nd one is pretty much the same as the 1st, but the 3rd one will have slightly more action in it, but still not lots. It's more about the lurrrve :rolleyes:
 
I'd say it has more action than "Twilight". Starts with the party, with the whole Jasper thing. Then there are the wolves chasing Victoria in the wooRAB. And some action in Italy.*

I am a massive fan of the saga, and for me, "New Moon" was better than "Twilight" overall.

*I've not gone into a lot of detail as I don't want to reveal a lot of spoilers.

Oh, and if you prefer Edward, this might be a bit disappointing for you. Personally, I prefer Jacob
