hi glad your hear i am an addict . sounRAB like a good plan . there are some good people on this board. that will help. it wont be easy .. i got in a motorcycle accident last june. had my bout with pain killers. i hear your plan it sounRAB good you may want consult your md as to the taper . but you can do it . you may be ill for a week or two but most start to feel better in a few days . your md may be able to give you something to help with wd. you will get your strength back you will feel alot better about youself an the people around you. the sweats for me seemed like a good thing to get the toxins out . drink alot of fluiRAB. an the mental obsesion can be very tough so talk to people to help you threw . sorry to hear about your brother. you might want to try na or aa where people have gone or are going threw the samething thing these phone #s can be found in your phone book. i have cronic pain an siatica . exercise is working good ,have to keep moving. you will notice a pep in your step in a matter of days its worth the wd. try not to worry about what others think an concentrate on getting an staying clean bacause you are #1 . an being scared is a real tell tale sign that you want this . i remeraber someone say to me scott you got to want it more than any thing in your life. an i did not know what he meant but i do now. 5 years may 1st. dont be so hard on your self you have given yourself enough of a beating . you dont have to settle for less . life will take on new meaning . an try other methoRAB for your pain.bottomline you going to be ok . just do the next right thing follow your heart.because its are head that seems to get in the way . good luck to you . i wil pray for you scott
 
If the 325 part of that drug is tylenol aka acetaminophen it can turn your liver to mush and I would be more concerned that you go have a blood draw to be sure your liver doesn't fail. If the 325 is Aspirin then you could cause ringing in your ears that doesn't go away. You can always come off of the Oxy's but the other two can leave permanent damage. If you are in pain all the time there are safer pain drugs to take that won't cause other damage. Taking 12 pills a day is close to overdose on both Tylenol and Aspirin don't do it again or you might destroy the liver and die. good luck with getting off of them but if you find you do need pain pills because of chronic pain there is no shame in that just work with the doctor for a safer narcotic.
 
I agree with AnnD, go get a blood test asap. When I was taking alot of Percocet, I got this "pain" in my right side (stomach). I casually mentioned this to my doctor and he flipped! He requested a blood test - when it came back, my liver counts were so high, I was borderline jaundice. Jaundice in adults can be fatal.

It's worth checking into. You can't afford not to...
