I believe the environment will be better in the future. All you got to do is build more water recycling refineries and better sewage systems that can recycle waste. I know it may sound disgusting but when something is recycled it is basically brand new for consumption. If the government can implement this then the environment can be drastically improved.
Think about it. An excellent sewage system will bring hope. By recycling water we can improve the quality of life since all living organisms on planet Earth require water to live. In addition, I would also like to add that if we all rely on renewable energy the world can be saved from pollution. It is a human problem when we expect to have energy with a snap of a finger. Because of this, we create pollution without even knowing it. If we can understand how energy is created and how the energy source is created, we can consciously be aware of our energy consumption and more courteous on how much we use. Money is not always the answer. Money is a physical means of exchange and when we rely on this illusion we forget that this form of exchange cannot reverse pollution. Earth deals with pollution we create.
Since there are now less jobs there is no reason why we shouldn't invest in green technology. When there are more jobs created in the future, green technology will be firmly established for us to work off of instead of relying on gas and oil. I would say this is a perfect opportunity to be more green.
Your life is not at stake. At worst, If you can eat one meal a day and consume a couple of cups of water to replenish your water weight you will definitely be able to survive. The body does not need much to be sufficient. We fear we will starve and I believe this to be unreasonable because when you are at the point of starvation that is when you should fear about your future. This is unlikely. I do not believe this country has a problem with food shortage. There is a lot of U.S land to grow food =).
Let's all be positive and not try to creative collective cynicism.
