Is there hope for solving corporate and financial problems in this world?

Everything is controlled by money now. The oil companies' control almost everything, and are one of the greatest threats to almost everything, including global warming, pollution, and energy deprivation. We've also got a government that PAYS, especially in California, to have homeless people remain on the streets. Money is wasted by selfish and greedy people who don't give the time and day to think about others, What is the solution to this? Don't answer based on your political beliefs, just think about what is right for the world. I'm not just spewing bs either, you have to first understand the actuality and reality of what i'm saying.
 
If people and government have hope,honesty,commonsense and tenacity to change,things may change for the better hopefully. Because the road to a better world is not a easy one. The greatest hurdle is natural invention and disaster, like the earthquake in Haiti where death and distractions.occur.Obama and his administration will try their best to help America out of the current recession. And I think so far they had done their best. My advise to governments and politicians are that if they find their tasks too heavy they must let go and let others to have a chance, try to explore and change sitting in their hot seats.
