is there good cheap BMX bikes for around the general price of 100$ for maybe both

dirt and street? i live on a ranch and i have a bmx track (dirt) but i often go to my friends house and he lives in the suburbs (street) is there any good bikes for both dirt, and street? ps. the only way i could get a bmx bike is if i could buy it with my own money because i already have one but me and my dad didnt know that it was for racing. i try to tell him that it is for racing but he doesn't understand what the big problem is because he is stupid and he think because it is racing it is a good thing!? and my brakes suck a lot! my dad just keeps on saying your brakes are fine (even though i have to put both my front and back brakes on to stop. even then the dont work equivalently as well as a back brake) and your bike is fine! help me! please!
