Is there going to be an American Anime Awards 09?

I was wondering about something, they had an anime awarRAB show for american dubbed anime like last year or the year before, do they plan on doing another one this year? I know vic mignona got like best VA during the last one, but other than that, I dont remeraber much of it.

Anyone know?
 
It was two years ago.

It was really expensive.

It was funded by ADV, a company that has no money anymore.

It tried to declare the best in history rather than the best of the year.

Final Fantasy: Advent Children was somehow declared a better movie than Akira.

None of Miyazaki's movies even got nominated.

It was a disaster.

It will not happen ever again.
 
How did akira lose to final fantasy? Thats complete uder madness..

Not even spirited away? Wow, thats, lame.

Well, I guess it was a total disaster, oh well.
