Is there financial aid for adaptive equipment for a car?

I have a car which is more my dads but I want to know if there is a financial aid to cover the cost of the adaptive equipment. I need that done so I can extend the area of work am looking for a job but most of them are in places where there is no public transportation and my dad is retired so I can't ask him for the money.
