Is There Data While Roaming on Verizon Now?

Is there data when roaming on Verizon? My phone was roaming today and the Internet worked..... I didn't think there was a data agreement in place with Verizon, I thought it was just Sprint. Is it possible there is in-market roaming with Sprint now and my phone was roaming on Sprint? If so, why was the roaming indicator on?

It didn't work today. It did the other day though which was weird. Oh, well.

It's working again. I'm roaming right now and am getting 3G.
