Is there aspiring author here who doesn't want to write a teen monster book?

not a teen....writing a suspense novel about chasing a demon ...no vampires, very little romance.....

also writing a murder mystery, based on an actual unsolved murder from about 20 years ago.....

If I had a dime for every excerpt I've read here on Yahoo that was somehow related to Twilight, I would never have to worry about money issues ever again. .. If only, if only.

I haven't done much writing lately, but I can assure you that I refuse to write about vampires and/or werewolves. I usually write fiction, but that doesn't mean I have to include the overused fairytale creatures. I prefer original plots; not rewriting the exact same thing every other teenage "writer" is writing about these days. Dare to be different.

Oh, and writing about romance isn't my thing either. I never got into that; as a minor subplot, maybe, but ultimately; no. I have to deal with enough drama every day, and I do not wish to relive it all. Writing is an escape for me; not a recap of the mess I have to endure, haha.

Cheers.

Come on! That's just teens excuse for there to be more Twilight books: make their own.I admire authors, I want to be one, but does anyone have original ideas? Don't tell me everything, just convince me it's not a teen vampire romance book.
