is there anyway i can turn my 40gb ps3 into 60gb so i can play my ps2 games?

i have a ps3 which is 40gb i tried my best to get a 60gb but i couldn't.
And now i have lots of ps2 games and my ps2 is broken and i don't want to buy another ps2 when i think i can some how do something to my ps3 to play the ps2 games. so please help me.
