Is there anything to treat silver jewelry with for people who are allergic?

I think and i believe my girlfriend thinks silver looking things look better than gold. Im planning pn getting her a silver charm bracelet. But she gets the green skin when she wears real silver things. is there anything to treat the silver with so it wont affect her. i found the perfect gift but its only in silver. please help asap. (also i dont have the money for white gold or things like that)
