protect a ceramic top stove.? This question has been asked numerous times in other forums but never gets a direct answer. If yes, please state what it is and where it can be obtained. Most answers diverge between absolutely not and yes, just be careful. I would like to know is there any material that can be placed between the two. Mainly it would be to keep from marring the cook top with burn marks (I have a white cooktop which smudges even with the cleanest stainless steel pans). My cast iron has a bottom seasoned from years of use and I shudder to think what it would leave behind on my white stove top.
