Is there anything NOT to tell on your section 8 interview? Like bank accounts

or insurances.? My interview is Monday. I'm very nervous about what to put on the application. Like bank account info or how much money I have. Can they found out?
 
You have to be upfront with all financial information - and yes, they can find all of that stuff out.

If you try to hide it, and they later find out, they can prosecute you for fraud.

If you have a lot of money in the bank, they will expect you to use it first and then apply again.
 
They will know that you lied when they do your credit and back ground check. They are going to want statements from all of your accounts. Just put whatever is true on your application. If you really can't afford rent on your own you will qualify.
 
Look, if you lie and they find out, you will be denied permantely! Be honest, always be honest. And yes they do a thorough check of your credit and background.
