Hey,
The bike crime rate in my city is very high, I've had 4 bikes stolen in the last 5 years. When the last bike was stolen I had it insured and I bought a very nice bike with the insurance money and some super strong locks to make it almost impossible for someone to steal my bike again...I had it locked up in town last week and came back to find that the handlebars and disc breaks had been stolen! When I get a new bike is there anything I can do to make sure this doesn't happen again?? I had 2 locks on it locking the wheels and frame but i didn't think for a second that someone would want to steal my brakes/handlebars..also if they had taken the bike forks it would of cost a lot of replace them, so anything to stop them taking these as well?
