Is there anything I can do to fix this problem while plugging in my Blackberry to my PC?

I recently plugged it to save some images and then delete them from my phone, and when I was done I unplugged it without clicking the "unplug safely" thingy, and now my PC won't recognize my Blackberry.. I have Windows Vista btw
is there anything I can do? Thank you!
