im 13 and play for a little league team...its one of those young leagues were its just to have fun and not to win or lose, so if you say something mean about another player you get ejected...but a coach didnt follow that rule...it was 3-2 count, bases loaded, and we were down by one and then the coach said i was a weak hitter and ive never gottan a hit...the next pitch was strait down the midle for a strike but i coudnlt concentrate because of what the coach said. And now im kinda sad/annoyed/mad and i want to talk to the coach, do you think i should and is there anything i could do?

Yes. tell him Attitude reflects leadership. if he were a better coach youd be a better hitter. its his job to chizzil a little ballplayer out of you and make it fun in the process. a true leader will have the loyalty and respect of his team.

first i would go to him and request him to help you to be a better hitter. ask for him to work with you more 1 on 1 to help you to devop your swing a little better. let him know that you have the drive and determination to be a better player if he is willing to lead you down that path. if he responds with a negative or a no then i would site my first paragraph to him. let him know your not going to be able to get any better if he doesnt do his job and train you better.

just remember you have to have the drive to be better, or even the best before you go to him with a complaint. because if your not willing to put in the work then the only one to blame will end up being you. hit up your coach for some personal batting practice and therory talk and see what happens.

good luck i would love to know the outcome.
