I have lived in Louisville KY for going on 3 years now. I want to like it here, because the economy sucks and I am lucky enough to be employed. As someone who has experienced living all over the country, I find the people here in Louisville largely uneducated, lacking in class, and generally bumkins - even the nouveau riche.
What can I do here to change my perception? Where can I go to meet educated or worldly people in Louisville Kentucky? Please help with some ideas, because I feel nearly hopeless.
