Is there any way to NOT have to use the Foot Pedal in Band Hero?

The other day, my Band Hero foot pedal broke and now I keep failing because it still wants me to be using the foot pedal. I checked and there is no option to not use the foot pedal that I can see.

And for those of you who don't know, Band Hero is almost exactly like Guitar Hero 5 but with different songs.
 
Unfortunately the foot pedal must always be used. As you can tell it is the standard drum peripheral when you start from beginner. The foot pedal is the only part of the drums and eventually you add the rest of the drums when you get higher. So unfortunately no, you will need to get a new foot pedal before you continue playing your songs
