I recently bought a virgin mobile broadband 2go usb mobile Internet device for $100 and I paid for a month service in advance, only to discover when I came home that it has a speed of only 3.1 mbps! which translates to around 30 kbps download speed, which obviously is a joke and makes it basically useless in terms of streaming video, download, etc.
So I would like to know is this the way its supposed to be, or is the device maybe broken? Or its just a ripoff because they name the device broadband and I bought it expecting somewhat decent speed. Or maybe is there a way to boost the connection? Thanks in advance.
