Is there any way to get some games to run off a USB flash drive?

I was just wondering if there was any way to adapt games for use on a USB flash drive, in such a way that they would leave no files on the computer they were used on, sort of like a U3 flash drive based program, except without having to use U3's firmware. Of particular interest to me to make portable would be some of PopCap's games (Bookworm, Zuma, and Bejeweled 2 and Bejeweled Twist in particular). Is there any way to do this? The games I'm thinking of are better-suited to using a USB flash drive as their install since they're smaller in size and aren't really that load-intensive (which I know would be a problem on USB 2.0 flash drives). Now, out of curiosity, I feel like installing Bejeweled Twist to a my SanDisk 8 GB USB 2.0 flash drive and see how well it runs.

I doubt it can be done with many games nowadays, but some games you can just take their entire folder in the Program Files and drag it onto a drive. Then you just click on the .exe, with all the game's files present on the drive.

I do that with Unreal Tournament sometimes.
