When I turn my Mac computer on, my screen goes white and then flashes the apple, a censor sign, and a folder with a question mark on it. What happened and how can I fix it?

The exact same thing happened to mine a few weeks ago, and unfortunately, it needed a new harddrive.
This icon means that it can't find the harddrive. If you go to an apple store they will be able to replace it, most likely for free. However, everything on the harddrive will probably be lost. That's what happened with mine
