Is there any way to fix my Cadillac hood emblem?

I accidentally broke off the hood emblem on my 2001 Cadillac Deville. They're really hard to find, and way too expensive anyways. I was wondering if anyone was able to fix their emblem on their car.
Is there any way to fix the metal loop that the spring goes on? It's a couple of millimeters separated.
