I currently have a Nokia N95 on Vodafone on a 24 month contract. I've been on this contract for 18 months and have 6 months left.
However I am really keen on getting a Nokia N8 sometime soon; my current phone still works, but is also quite damaged and has a number of very irritating faults.
I would ideally like to get the N8 on another Vodafone contract, and was wondering if anyone knew whether this would be possible? I just find it a bit of an oversight of phone companies not to allow their customers to terminate contracts early in order to renew them for even longer contracts, but on another phone. I mean for all Vodafone knows, surely in the convening six months I have left of my contract, I might get fed up of their service and change companies entirely at the end of my current contract and they would then miss out on the £300 - £400 I'd be willing to pay for another contract.
I am not particularly hopeful that this is possible, but thought I'd ask just incase.
