I just attempted to move my black shark from his old tank to his new big tank and he or she did not want to be caught very easily. when i finally netted the fish i noticed that it is missing a few scales. I'm worried that this may cause the fish to get a disease or infection or something. Is there anyway in assisting it to heal quickly? also is there anyway of telling if it is male or female?
Is there any specail treatment for aquarium fish that have lost scales?
