Is there any software that helps me along the way as I write my novel?

If having trouble starting out, or suggestion for different way in what I write at that moment? I am writing a novel for the first time but the point is that sometimes i can't figure what to write next. I mean i know about the plot but can't really express in suitable or nice easily readable way
