Is there any possible to fix this myself for GM 2002 grand prix?

im not sure if thats how you spell it but when you turn on the air condition it is just heat and they said i needed to replace the whole dashboard. how can i fix that myselff so i just need to fix the thing so the air works. and i just got a new air compressor
 
The whole dashboard contains a lot of things not related to the AC. They may have to remove the dash to get at the parts inside that need fixing. That is an awful lot of work. Take it to another shop where they actually can do the job.
