Is there any other civilization other than this Earth?

There is not at present any evidence of such.

Postscript: a previous response mentioned the Drake equation. This equation is based on a faulty premise: that any planet on which life could develop will actually have life. We have no idea how life began on this orb, so it is utterly impossible to estimate a probability that it would develop elsewhere if it could.

i dont know if civilization is the right word. on earth we are all living together as a race of human beings. it is asinine and ignorant to believe that no other forms of life exist in our 13.7 billion year old universe that is just unimaginably huge. "aliens" exist. maybe not the ones from Hollywood but it is impossible for there to be no other life-forms in this universe than just those on earth.

It is not known for sure. But it would be incredibly hard for me to believe that, in our entire UNIVERSE that we are the only life, isn't it?

we dont know but there was a scientist who send a kind of message showing the Earths life. u have to wait.... this scientist has send this message about 300 years ago.

Well, nobody actually knows for sure. Some people believe in other life and other people don't. People who believe in God usually don't believe in aliens.

I personally think that they do, I mean the numbers just show it. Scientists are studying Mars because when they sent their two Robot Rovers, (Spirit & Opportunity) to land on Mars' surface in 2003 Opportunity found geological forms that were almost certainly produced by flowing water. In 2004, Spirit found even clearer signs of water, backing up the evidence of its twin. What do you think are the chances of this? Mars, our neighboring planet once had flowing water on its surface. This shows us that a planet doesn't have to be perfect. It only has to be good enough.

If there are Billions of stars with orbiting planet in each Galaxy and then Billions of Galaxies in our Universe. And then we are not even sure if there is more than one Universe. I simply cannot imagine us being the only ones. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a planet with life only 1,000 Light Years away. Planets are too small for us to see so we can't observe them but if we could, we could observe the planet most likely to support life in each Solar System of one trillion times.

What do you think life needs in order to survive? Food, water, heat and oxygen? Maybe for life on Earth but how do we know that other life needs any of those things. It may breathe on carbon dioxide, (a common gas). Maybe it has the same qualities as a robot and doesn't need heat or food & water. In that case then could be life on basically any planet.

How advanced do you think that other aliens are? Do you think that they are highly intelligent and have listed every single other alien in the Universe or do you think that they are pieces of slime? How intelligent are we compared to these other aliens? I do think that aliens are far apart from each other though. And since the fastest thing that we know of is life it wouldn't be possible for aliens to reach us in under millions of years. Just maybe one day we will find out. :)

They DO exist, because...

we have a billions and billions galaxies with hundreds of thousands of planets in each. We, earth, can't be alone in this vast universe its just almost impossible. I would say that their is life on other planets that yield mighty civilizations.

We are not alone, they see us, they live with us, they breed with us...

I believe in it and I don't believe in it.
I have seen something shiny in the sky but I think it's just a lost balloon.
But if you go google and click on images. Put Mars aliens, it shows weird things of a mountain with a face and a figure sitting down. It's really strange

It's definitely possible.

I haven't seen any aliens myself, but there is definitely some supernatural force out there that seems to be beyond our realm of understanding.

But as for having life on other planets, that's a really high chance. We just haven't discovered anything yet...and there's still so much to explore in space.

According to the Drake Equation, there are probably about 10,000 civilizations in our galaxy.

Unfortunately, our galaxy is so big that we may never actually meet one by any means other than radio astronomy.
