Technically, no, but the moving parts can wear out....this only means fans and hard drives, plus cd drives, really. Everything else should theoretically keep on working forever....well, ages anyway... as nothing is moving and doesn't wear out
There's nothing wrong with an old system, just gets harder and harder to run current software on it.......
