Is There Any Hope For Me?

I have been on a Methadone & Diazepam prescription for 17 years now. I really want to come off the Methadone but I've never lived my adult life without being on these two medications (I was given a prescription for these meRAB when I was 17 and didnt know any better).
Any advice on this would be very much appreciated.
 
it sounRAB like your lucky to be alive, for what an why would an md put you on these meRAB for, an so long, find another md that deals with addiction dependency, good luck to you , your to young to stay on that stuff :)
 
well of cource there is hope, an yes not feeling lucky is a syetem that will go away , tell us how you feel if you would like , we are here to help , if you want to stop , find a drug treatment center or NA AA, do what ever it takes , face your fears to find the faith , you will have to go through the pain to find the peace, you can do it , alot of us have been there , i will pray for you , again tell us whats going on :):wave:scott your felow addict
