I don't know about television (I don't have one). There is an interesting web site called debate.org. I have not spent a lot of time there, but there seems to be a mix of good debate and low quality debate. I suggest checking it out anyway to see if you find what you are looking for there. I don't think you will find debates involving members of the Obama administration or congress, but I might be wrong.
