...of studying? HI there with being a Single mum of 3 and at at present not being able to attend college of return to work i was wondering if anyone know and online home study coures i could do. but with being on a low income on state benefits i cant afford to pay at present so if there any where you and get financial support. i know the open university help with cost of studying anyone know of any others thanks all
 
i am in a similar situation to you and am studying with the ou. in your situation you will be entitled to the maximum yearly allowance which basically means all your study will be paid for. with the ou you choose different courses each year which count towards your degree, the average cost of a 60 point course (which takes 9 months to complete) is £630.00, the yearly award for someone in your situation is around £800.00 so if you take one course per year you are covered for this.
