My boyfriend bought the house that his grandmother was living in. He lives on the second and third floors, and she gets the first floor, like her own little apartment, but she does not help pay any of the bills. So now he has this huge mortgage to pay, electricity, heat, cable, internet, etc. for basically two apartments, with no help. Is there any financial assistance programs for people in this situation that he could apply for?? I'd really appreciate the advice.
