Is there any FAMOUS AUTHORS from France, Spain or Italy?

I need this I may have asked alot of questions on Yahoo answers but yeah MORE ImPORTANT
 
I can do part of the answer...From France, Victor Hugo (wrote Les Miserables), Alexander Dumas (3 Musketeers), and in 20th century, Jean-Paul sartre and Albert Camus.

From Italy, Ovid, Petrarch,Livy,Tacitus, Plautus, Virgil (Roman times), Dante, Bocaccio (medieval), and in 20th century, Dario Fo, Luigi Pirandello, and Giuseppe de Lampedusa.

From Spain, Cervantes, for Don quixote...I think most of the famous Spanish writers are from the Americas.
