Basically, I'm going to be staying in New Zealand next year in the North Island, possibly Auckland while on a work placement for a year..I'm very excited, and would like to read more about the country's culture, wildlife, traditions, festivals etc...I have only been advised to get the Lonely planet's guide to New Zealand as apparently these are very good & up to date.
