This is my second semester of school here in San Francisco and I figured since I don't have a car, I'd bring my bike from home. However, I've never really rode it in any serious way and It's in definite need of some fixing up. I live in a dorm down the street from Lafayette Park near Japan Town and Pacific Heights and I was just wondering if there are any super reliable bike shops nearby that might be able to help me out as a new biker.
Is there any bike shops in SF in particular that are really helpful to new bikers?
