My husband and I bought a gym membership back in February. We've gone about a handful of times. It's just not convenient when you have life interfering with trying to go to the gym. First, my husband came down with the flu and we weren't able to go. My husband was on call the next week for his job and we couldn't go. Next week, my back injury stopped me from going. I injured my rotator cuff 5 years ago while working as an aide pretty bad so all I can do is either the treadmill or bike. I've tried the stability ball at home and it puts alot of stress on my back. I've gone to the store to look at various workout dvds but I'm afraid they will flare up my injury. So that leaves the treadmill or bike again. I want to workout but my physical therapist says no over exertion of the shoulder area. I can do a series of limited exercises that he gave me to do. I do these after the inflammation settles in the shoulder. So I'm at a loss but went to get healthier and lose the winter weight that I put on. Any suggestions? Thanks.
