I recently moved into a new house that has a large area of the backyard covered in rocks. The previous owner used to have a boat, and that's where he'd park it. (I guess that by having rocks under a wet boat would be more attractive than dead grass.)
Anyway, this area is the perfect spot for a garden, only I've got large rocks (roughly 2-3 inches in diameter, rough-cut) that go down almost three inches.
I just want to know if there's an easy way to remove the rocks, or do I have to dig up the whole area (8' x 20') by hand and replace the lost soil & rocks with fresh topsoil?
Thanks!!
