is mandatory? I am pretty certain that there is some sort of regulation or at least guideline that says when the command has to make the full winter IPFU the standard pt uniform. Basically, when is it mandatory for soldiers to wear the long sleeve shirt, pants, jacket, gloves, and cap? I know that 1 Oct. is when you are supposed to switch pending weather, but I have heard of commanders demanding that their units wear summer IPFU in as cold as 28ºF, and I was pretty certain that there is some sort of regulation or something against that.
