Is there an area of the us where Alltel hasn't quite yet been taken over by Verizon?

I want to get an Alltel U prepaid phone plan before they get taken over by Verizon as Verizon will not let you get the plan after the merger is complete. It has to be an area of the country that is still Alltel but will be taken over by Verizon in the future. Does anyone know of ANY part of the country that is still Alltel, but will be Verizon in the future? Be aware there are some parts of the country that are still Alltel, but will be taken over by AT&T. I only want an area that will be taken over by Verizon.
