Is there an app for android like mental note on apple?

What I'm looking for is an app that you can take handwritten notes. I'm a college student and I'm looking to purchase an android tablet. I want to be able to take notes effectively like you would with pen and paper. I have an iPod touch and have used mental note and it's the perfect idea of what I'm looking for. Does anyone know if there is an app like this on android
